A Board Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist provides temporary coverage handling 18-20 surgical specimens daily, primarily gastrointestinal and gynecological cases, with additional breast, liver, and prostate biopsies. The role includes processing colon resections and hysterectomies, performing 1-2 frozen sections monthly, and utilizing Epic EMR in a 104-bed hospital setting. Coverage is scheduled Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no cytology or bone marrow responsibilities.
