• Worksite Setting : ER, Certified Stroke Center
• Scope of Work : Number of beds? 12 + 4 Fast Track, Census? 22,000, 30% mainly geriatrics admission.
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements : Active FL License, ABEM/ABOEM for Main, IM/FP with at least 500 cases in previous 12 months (However, this is the baseline requirement. Higher volumes, experience in trauma or stroke programs, and certification/eligibility for the ABPS emergency medicine Board. The latter provides a non-emergency medicine post-graduate training route for emergency medicine Board certification.
• EMR : Meditech
• Pay Rate Preferred : $290/ hr. plus all travel

Additional Details an Emergency Medicine Physician will want to know about a position:

• Would like providers that can offer 12-15 shifts per month.
• Duration of need? At least 6 months.
• What are expectations for orientation? Administrative Orientation at Main campus, Shadow shift at Main or assigned FSED(s), EMR training.
