Your Impact in Pediatrics
As a Pediatric RN, you'll:
- The Triage team member provides patient support by assessing needs, routing inquiries appropriately, and ensuring timely access to care. This role includes both administrative triage duties and hands-on clinical responsibilities through regular rotation on the clinical floor. The position supports providers, assists with patient flow, and promotes high-quality, patient-centered care.

- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- /Certification:
- Current RN license in appropriate state, required.
- ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT; preferred.
Perform patient triage via phone or in-person, assessing symptoms, determining urgency, and directing patients to appropriate care.
Provide clinical support during floor rotations, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing exam rooms.
- Complete documentation accurately in the EMR, including triage notes and encounter details.
- Serve as a resource for general patient inquiries, test results, and care instructions.
