Del Sol Medical Center is a 350-bed hospital that provides acute care and a surgical facility that has served the El Paso community since 1974. An entire floor is dedicated to women s services, which include postpartum and antepartum care, NICU services, 24 hour neonatologist and CRNA coverage, lactation support and a NICVIEW webcam system that allows parents to view their baby from their device at any time.

OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.
This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

A day in the life includes:
- Caring for all pregnant women who present emergent, regardless of circumstance
- Cultivating relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel
- Supporting private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance
- Caring for unassigned patients
- Evaluating and treating triage patients
- Providing consultation to the ED
- Monitoring labor
- Delivering babies
