The Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive healthcare services including medical assessments, non-treatment compensation and pension exams, and health evaluations primarily through interviews and some physical assessments. The role requires proficiency in musculoskeletal, diabetes, cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological evaluations, along with administrative tasks such as reporting and record review. Candidates must hold a master's degree, valid NP and RN licenses, and relevant clinical experience to support patient care and contribute to healthcare delivery within a dynamic staffing environment.

We're currently seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our amazing team.
Details of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner opening:
- Anticipated start date: ASAP
- Salary Range: $650/day
- Anticipated duration of assignment: As Needed
- Anticipated schedule: 8 hour days

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner:
- Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc., or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension
- One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
- Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing
- No prescribing, no treatment
- DMA certification available (can get CME credits) - will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
- Use of Goniometer required
- Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
- Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
- Training shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
- Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report; end product is completion of standardized form(s)
- Record review is required in most cases
- Follow up administrative work will be required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics)
Qualifications for the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner:
- Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nationally recognized as a Nurse Practitioner
- Clinical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Holds a current NP and RN license in state in which employed and practices
- BLS
