The Per Diem Primary Care Physician provides in-office and telehealth care to patients with acute, chronic, and wellness needs across multiple clinic locations in Aventura, FL. The role requires at least 2 years of primary care experience, appropriate licensure, and board certification in Family or Internal Medicine. This casual employee position offers malpractice insurance coverage, technology support, CME stipend, and a comprehensive benefits package when working 24+ hours per week.

Employment type:
- “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role)
- Anticipated average of 8–20 patient care hours per week, with actual hours varying according to office needs
Location:
- Seeing patients across multiple offices in Aventura, FL
- Including: Aventura, Las Olas, and Pembroke Pine
- Weekly schedule will include hours at severalclinics in Aventura, FL
- Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed.
What you'll be working on:
- Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
- Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- At least 2 years of primary care experience required.
- Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Florida
- The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
- Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
