Locum interventional radiologist needed for full-scope hospital-based IR coverage at a 175-bed Level II trauma center in Kearney, NE. Duties include image-guided procedures (spine injections, kyphoplasty, ports/central lines, biopsies, drainages, oncology interventions, breast biopsies) with Epic EMR and dedicated procedural support; Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with no call. Requirements: Board certified/eligible in Radiology (interventional preferred), Nebraska medical license, BLS/ACLS recommended; recruiter provides malpractice, travel, lodging, and credentialing support.

- Ongoing Need: Continuous coverage starting from start date
- Provide full-scope Interventional Radiology services within a hospital-based setting
- Collaborate with technologists, nursing staff, and a physician assistant supporting procedures such as barium work, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Broad-based IR practice including:
- Spine procedures (pain management injections, vertebral augmentation, etc.)
- Ports and central line placements
- Solid organ biopsies and drainages
- Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies
- Kyphoplasty
- Breast biopsies
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Dedicated technologists, nursing team, and PA for procedural assistance
- No staff on call
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (Interventional focus preferred)
- License: Nebraska medical license required (facility may assist)
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS recommended
- Experience: Must be comfortable with full range of IR procedures listed above
