Job Responsibilities:

• Coverage Type: Call Only
  • Schedule:
    • Week 1: :00 AM to :00 AM
    • Week 2: :00 AM to :00 AM
    • This cycle repeats each week, providing consistent and predictable coverage needs.
  • Call Coverage:
    • Provide ED call coverage, responding to all calls within 15 minutes.
    • Must be available to arrive onsite within 30 minutes when needed.
    • Flexibility to adjust call schedule as required based on changes in local staffing.

Candidate Requirements:

• Licensure:
  • Must be licensed in Oklahoma or eligible for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Certifications:
  • Board Certification: Required (Board-Eligible candidates considered)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
  • ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications are not required.
• Experience:
  • Proven experience in orthopedic surgery with a focus on emergency procedures is highly desirable.
• Credentialing:
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.
  • Temporary privileges are available for qualified candidates.
