We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for locum tenens coverage at an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Florida. Emergency Department experience is preferred, though physicians with a strong Internal Medicine background will also be considered. Physicians must be flexible, as coverage includes 12-, 16-, and 24-hour shifts, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical coverage for adult psychiatric inpatients
• Manage walk-in patient needs within the facility
• Collaborate with hospital clinical staff to ensure safe, effective care
• Maintain accurate documentation

Schedule

• ASAP start for 6 months
• Up to 40 hours per week
• 12, 16, and 24 hours shifts (including weekends)
• No call
• Mostly adults

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active DEA, ATLS, BLS
• Active Florida license required
