Job Function:
Provide comprehensive care in a large Level III NICU.
Collaborate closely with a team of neonatologists, neonatal hospitalists, and advanced practice providers.
Utilize advanced clinical resources, including HFOV, VDR, NAVA ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, total body hypothermia, pediatric subspecialties, surgical support, and regional transport services.
Participate in mentorship and teaching opportunities within a collaborative academic environment.
Support quality initiatives and best-practice standards with a robust multidisciplinary team.
Work a Monday-Friday schedule with shared call coverage among all neonatologists and the medical director.
Maintain a role structure consisting of approximately 80% clinical responsibilities and 20% administrative leadership.
Job Requirements:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatology.
Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum of 4 years of neonatology experience; prior leadership experience preferred.
