Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week with every other weekend required
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available with 36 hours guaranteed
• Care for adult medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care patients, and provide family education on oncological processes
• Also care for urology and telemetry patients on 29-bed unit
• Patient ratios: 4-5:1 during days, 5-6:1 during nights
• Float to like units within scope as needed to meet facility requirements
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ONCC/ONS (chemotherapy certification)
• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring, central line draws, port care, blood administration, PCA pumps, bone marrow aspiration assistance, Pleurx chest tubes
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred (within 1 year)
• Work with special equipment including PCA pumps, CBI, feeding pumps, and bladder scanners
• Use Cerner charting system
• Wear royal blue/white scrubs
• 16-hour orientation required
• Complete 2-4 hours of non-billable modules prior to start date
• WV or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable)
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)

The facility operates as a short-term acute care hospital with 838 total staffed beds, providing comprehensive medical services including specialized oncology care. The organization offers interdisciplinary support with IV teams and maintains modern equipment and technology to support patient care across multiple specialties.
