Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, evidence-based care within a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary and family care services to patients across the lifespan while promoting health education, disease prevention, and overall wellness.

Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Manage acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
Provide preventive care, health counseling, and education on wellness and lifestyle management.
Administer immunizations and injections, including but not limited to influenza, COVID-19, TB, and Depo-Provera.
Educate patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sexual practices.
Participate in clinic operations such as opening/closing duties, patient scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Complete all charting and documentation during clinic hours using electronic medical record systems.
Encourage patients to take an active role in their own health management through ongoing education and follow-up.
Coordinate care with other healthcare providers as needed to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Rhode Island.
Master s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or related outpatient settings.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (including CPR and AED).
Ability to complete DOT certification within 30 days of employment.
Must be able to pass a respirator FIT test and wear a mask when required.
EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred).
Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred, not required).
Preferred Experience:Prior experience providing family or retail health care in an autonomous setting.
Familiarity with evidence-based clinical guidelines and quality metrics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients and colleagues.
Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay range: $45.00 $100.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
