Job Overview
A long-term care / assisted living community in Fort Madison, Iowa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who is comfortable working night shifts and providing consistent, resident-focused care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care / assisted living setting
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes
- Coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license in Iowa or compact state (if applicable)
- Long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts reliably
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
