Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work standard procedure hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility for earlier or later procedures as needed
• Call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend
• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning
• Must arrive to department within 30 minutes of being notified when on call
• Float between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed to provide mutual support
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day in 1 room
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• 24 hours of orientation required
• 7 weekend shifts per contract
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License
• 2 years of experience required in specialty
• Travel experience required - facility does not accept first-time travelers
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (address on driver's license to site address)
• Louisiana license or compact license must be in hand upon submittal
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be willing to participate in emergency team assignments during hurricane season (June 1 - November 30)
• No call-ins allowed - strict attendance policy
