OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to provide locum coverage at a reputable medical center. Our facility offers a collaborative environment supporting complex pregnancies, including high-risk cases. You will work alongside an experienced team to deliver comprehensive care through outpatient and inpatient services, utilizing advanced technology and a multidisciplinary approach. Required Skills- Valid medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
- Board-certified or eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Expertise in high-risk obstetrical care, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC or Viewpoint
- Strong clinical skills in managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal abnormalities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills- Experience performing fetal aortic ultrasound and cervical cerclage
- Additional fetal diagnostics skills
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
- Bilingual capabilities
Preferred Education and Experience- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in high-risk obstetrics
- Experience managing complex fetal and maternal co-morbidities
Other Requirements- Credentialing anticipated within 90 days
- Participation in on-call rotation including weeknights and weekends
- Comfortable working in a Level III nursery setting
- Ability to provide care across diverse high-risk pregnancy cases
- Travel costs reimbursed, including flight, hotel, rental car, or mileage per IRS standards
