The schedule is Monday to Friday with additional night and weekend calls, requiring relevant certifications and state licensure.
Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Connecticut Monday - Friday With Night/Weekend Rotation February/March Start For 3-6 Months of Coverage Assignment
Coverage Needed:
February/March start for 3-to-6-month assignment
Potential for extension
Shift Descriptions:
Monday - Friday, 6:45am - 5pm + call
Rotation for nights/weekends, approximately 7-8 calls per month
Requirements:
Board Certified
Must be licensed in Connecticut
BLS and ACLS certifications
Local provider
Procedures/Skills:
Descending aortic aneurysms
CABG
Off-pump CABG
Arterial revascularization (using internal mammary arteries)
Radial artery and gastroepiploic artery
Redo coronary revascularization
Tube thoracostomy
Pericardial window
Thoracic aortic aneurysms
Heart valve repair/replacement surgery
CoreValve System
Mitral valve repair
Assignment Details:
Level I trauma facility
Inpatient OR, ICU, rounding of patients in ER and floors
EMR: Epic
Number of operating rooms: 3
Full complement ancillary staff
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-45 days
