Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing fine dining and high-volume kitchens (200–400+ covers nightly)
- Experience overseeing multiple teams or kitchen locations
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor Sous Chefs and cooks
- Strong organizational skills and experience with kitchen systems and vendor management
- Ability to maintain food costs and drive operational profitability
- Clear, proactive communicator with FOH/BOH teams
- Calm, collaborative leadership style under pressure
- Experience creating staffing schedules and conducting staff reviews with written feedback
- Ability to manage vendor accounts and ensure timely payments
Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in elevated, seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine
- Strong financial and analytical skills
