Located in Fayetteville and just across the street from Medical Center, the residency continuity clinic is the main outpatient teaching site for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. We serve a very diverse population that encompasses Fayetteville, Fort Bragg and surrounding counties. This is a full-time salaried position within a strictly outpatient setting. Participation in clinic leadership meetings is expected. Opportunities for involvement in clinic operations projects, quality improvement, didactic teaching on ambulatory topics, serving as an advisor and role model for residents, program clinical competency and program evaluation committees and graduate medical education are available and strongly encouraged. Attendings are expected to precept with resident physicians and teach medical students within the clinic. Opportunities for academic appointments at affiliated medical schools are available within this position.
