Job Details:

• Night shift position with every other weekend requirement
• Work 2 weekday shifts based on staffing needs
• Holiday rotation required - if one holiday falls in assignment expect to work it; if two holidays expect to work one; if three expect to work two
• Patient ratio of 1:6 across all shifts
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, CPI
• Skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes, colostomy care, feeding tube management, heparin administration, high flow nasal cannula, insulin protocols, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, wound care and wound vac management
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including cellulitis, pneumonia, dementia, renal failure, malignancy, GI bleed, sepsis, diabetes management, COPD, and various surgical cases
• Work on 32-bed medical/surgical innovation unit focused on new technologies and nursing practice models
• Charting system experience preferred (Meditech)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must pass fit testing and comply with zero-tolerance THC policy
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Candidates living within 50 miles are considered local and not accepted
