A state of the art 25-bed critical access hospital in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado near Steamboat Springs is seeking a BE/BC General Surgery Physician to join their staff in a part-time capacity. The practice has long supported two general surgeons who practice 24 - 32 hours per week and currently work 3 weeks per month.
Their current surgeon is flexible on modifying his work schedule to accommodate the right cultural fit for the hospital system.
The Opportunity:
• The hospital currently supports two surgeons who each work 3 weeks per month (12 weeks' vacation per year)
• 2 days of clinic and 2 days of surgery per week - Estimated Hours - 24 Hours per week of clinical care when not on call and 32 hours per week total when on call
• Low Volume Call Responsibilities 3 - 5 ED Consults per week and 1 - 2 emergent surgeries per week
• 4 Day Work Week
• Full benefits including 6 weeks PTO and $7,500 for CME
• EPIC EMR
