Hospital-based Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB) Hospitalist position in Denver seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physician to provide high-risk maternal and neonatal care in a Level IV maternal and child hospital. Responsibilities include prenatal, labor/delivery, postpartum management, coordinating multidisciplinary teams in a 25-bed L&D unit, and participating in quality improvement with flexible 12- or 24-hour shift schedules. Physician Hospitalist OB (Obstetrics & Gynecology) Permanent Position We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ob-GYN/OB-Hospitalist Physician to join a reputable hospital-based practice focused on providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care. This opportunity is ideal for physicians committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Position Overview: Provide comprehensive obstetric care for high-risk mothers and their infants, serving a diverse patient population from across the region. Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, perinatal nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff within a dedicated 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit. Manage complex obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies and regional neonatal transports, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and babies. Participate in flexible shift schedules, including 12-hour and 24-hour shifts, with options for full-time or part-time employment to support work-life balance. Work in a hospital setting that operates as part of Denver s only single-site Level IV maternal and child hospital, offering advanced maternal and neonatal services. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum management. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development. Qualifications: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Board Eligible candidates may be considered if within the certification window. Valid medical license to practice in Colorado or eligible for a Colorado medical license. Residency within the local area is required; candidate relocation may be necessary. Proven experience managing high-risk obstetric cases is preferred. Emphasis on compassionate patient care and strong teamwork skills.
