- On-Site Position
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or medical/surgical nursing
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Completion of all required onboarding health and professional documentation (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, physical, TB screening, etc.)
- Ability to complete skills checklist and competency exams
- Strong assessment, clinical support, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Provide specialized cardiac nursing care for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and complex cardiac conditions
- Monitor and manage patients with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, VADs)
- Deliver pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Serve as a clinical resource for patients awaiting heart transplants
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
- Support hospitalist services and gain broad medical-surgical nursing experience
