Patient Ratios : 2:1 and 1:1
Unit staffing description: self scheduling with feedback from supervisors
Type of equipment : various
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: every other weekend overtime available
Floating policy: can be floated as needed to other ICUs depending on volume and acuity. On rare occasion may be floated to PCU
Must have:

2 years ICU, previous CVICU experience
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:

Meditech experience preferred
Hemodynamic monitoring, ACLS, CPR, Ventilated patients. Post CABG care
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:

Active Texas RN License-Temp license will not be accepted
Procedures performed on unit:

Multiple via intensivist
Patient Experience Required:

Bedside shift report required with updates to white board. Rudeness is not tolerated
