Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment with dayshift hours and MA RN licensure required.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient rehab setting within the SCC Nursing unit
- Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30, 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- Epic EMR is used and familiarity is preferred
- Patient assessment, medication administration, and care plan implementation required
- Responsible for accurate patient records, administering medications, and monitoring condition changes
- Coordinate care plans with healthcare team members
- Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for non-local pay rate eligibility
- Parking at some locations may require use of public transportation or daily paid lots
- No pending MA license candidates will be considered
- First-time travelers are eligible for this position
Requirements
- Active MA RN license with no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions
