Carmel, Indiana Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified Physicians to provide locum tenens coverage at a freestanding Emergency Medicine & Urgent Care hybrid site in the Indianapolis metro area. This location offers a unique mix of Emergency Department and Urgent Care patient volume, ideal for physicians who enjoy diversity in their clinical day.
Assignment Details
- Location: Carmel, IN
- Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
- Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Shift Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Practice Model: Solo EM Physician with APC support depending on site needs
- Patient Volume:
- Total: ~40 patients/day
- ED: ~7.5 patients/day
- Urgent Care: ~32.5 patients/day
- Trauma Designation: Freestanding ED with Urgent Care services
- EMR: Epic
Candidate Requirements- Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS (AHA only)
- Licensure: Active & unrestricted Indiana license with DEA
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of Emergency Medicine practice
- Credentialing: Standard timeline (no temp privileges available)
