The role focuses exclusively on inpatient care within an established team of 9 neurosurgeons and 9 advanced practice providers providing 24/7 support. Essential duties include conducting admissions and discharges, performing consultations, and serving as first assist during surgical procedures when desired, with night discharges being uncommon but possible.
