- High-Volume & Flexible Schedule: Seeking coverage for up to 40 shifts per month, with a mix of day and evening coverage during weekdays and weekends. Shifts include: 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 12p-8p, and 2p-10p.
- Generalist Focus: Coverage scope includes ED/IP/OP exams across all modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, and NucMed/PET.
- Required Skillset: Must have Body/Generalist Radiology competency (including chest & abdominal) and be comfortable with basic neuro and MSK studies.
- Productivity: Expected to meet a minimum RVU expectation per 8-hour shift.
- Remote Flexibility: The position is primarily teleradiology (within the US), but on-site options may be negotiable for candidates near a UPP Radiology coverage site in Southwest PA.
- EMR/PACS: The facility utilizes Cerner and Epic for charting.
- Privileging: Full and temporary privileges are available, with an estimated credentialing time of 90 days. The facility will accept candidates needing to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
- Interpret and report on a high volume of ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient exams across all modalities, functioning as a generalist.
- If working on-site, provide oversight of APPs who perform most diagnostic procedures, though some performance may be necessary based on scheduled volume and skillset.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team, even when providing remote coverage.
- Board Status: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by the ABR or AOBR.
- Experience: No minimum years of experience stated, but high productivity and specific skill competency are mandatory.
- Licensure: An active Pennsylvania State License is required, but the facility will accept candidates needing to obtain a license.
- Certifications: DEA is required.
