Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Opportunity Near Huntington, WV (ASAP - Ongoing) We are currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in a healthcare facility near Huntington, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CRNA looking to make a significant impact in a variety of surgical settings while enjoying a flexible schedule. Position Overview: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Contract Length: 12 months, with the potential for extension Work Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule Options: 5 shifts of 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) 4 shifts of 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) 3 shifts of 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) No Call Shifts: Enjoy a work-life balance with no on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for a diverse patient population, including both inpatient and outpatient settings. Work across three different hospitals located within five minutes of each other. Participate in various surgical procedures, including: General Surgery Vascular Surgery Orthopedic Surgery Urology Plastics Dental Interventional Radiology Thoracic Surgery Pediatric Surgery Neuro Surgery Cardiac Surgery Endoscopy Procedures Requirements: Board Certification: Must be certified by the NBCRNA. State License: West Virginia license required (no willingness to license). Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA is required. Charting Experience: Familiarity with Cerner EMR is essential. Patient Demographics: The CRNA will work with patients of all ages, addressing various surgical needs in a supportive and collaborative environment.
