Travel Nursing Job Details

• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR) – 19 suites, advanced surgical technology

• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 10, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend (call or scheduled shift)
• Call Requirement: 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule; 45-minute response time
• Holiday Coverage: 75% of holidays
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Parking: Free onsite parking
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state license)
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Clinical proficiency in circulating trauma, ortho trauma, total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, GYN, robotics, general, bariatrics, urology, ENT, eyes, pain, and plastics cases
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, and self-motivation
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment and accommodate case requests
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in diverse surgical procedures: trauma, ortho, cardiac, robotics, and more
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain strict safety and infection control standards
• Respond promptly to call shifts (within 45 minutes)
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations
• Engage in ongoing nursing education and departmental onboarding (2 days)
• Foster a positive and supportive operating room culture
