DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseasesin various locations in the state of Washington.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, gout, vasculitis, and other autoimmune diseases.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, interpret lab results, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications, including disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biologics.
- Perform joint injections and other procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on managing their conditions and improving their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in rheumatology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- Valid medical license in Washington State
- Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating rheumatologic conditions
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
