RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in the C200 Progressive Care Unit with 10 beds
• Patient ratios of 3-4:1
• Patient population consists mostly of cardio-thoracic and vascular surgical patients with occasional medical progressive care patients
• Every third weekend schedule required with no call responsibilities
• Must have telemetry experience and comfort with chest tubes
• Preferred experience with cardiac drips like dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo
• External pacemaker experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, hoyer/stand lifts, bladder scanner, Bair hugger, rapid transfuser, chest tubes, vein finder, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, and epicardial and transvenous pacers
• Use Sunrise EMR system
• Perform procedures including pericardialcentesis with drains, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion
• May float to progressive care and telemetry units
• Must be organized but easily adaptable
