Our client, a leading industrial facilities management organization, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Compressor Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Compressor Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of critical compressed air systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s values and goals.
Job Title: Facilities Compressor Maintenance Technician
Location: Midland, TX
Pay Range: $40.00
Shift: Monday-Friday Day Shift (6am, 7am, 8am)
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressed air systems and vacuum pumps to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Support system installations, modifications, and upgrades to improve facility performance.
- Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate work order documentation within digital maintenance management systems (CMMS) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
What's Needed?
- Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in air compressor systems and vacuum pumps.
- Experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a related role.
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (commercial license may be required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with work order management systems (CMMS).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and hair follicle drug screening, with a high school diploma or GED; an associate’s degree or vocational/technical diploma is preferred.
