Assignment Details
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Setting: Hospital-based
• Schedule: Variable shifts based on surgical schedule and hospital needs
• Includes weekday, night, and weekend call coverage (schedule TBD)
• EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level: II
• Credentialing: 45-60 days
Clinical Details
• General surgical anesthesia (adult)
• Regional, spinal, and local anesthesia techniques
• Cardiac, thoracic (non-open heart), and complex vascular cases
• TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertion
• Supervision of CRNAs required
Requirements
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active New Jersey medical license (no time for licensing)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia preferred
• Experience with TEE, PA catheter, and advanced line placement
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred
