Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET scan procedures and Epic EMR, with BLS and CNMT certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit specializing in PET imaging
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No call or weekend shifts required
- Equipment includes GE and Phillips PET scan systems
- Epic charting experience required
- Black or ceil blue scrubs are required
- Travelers must complete OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start
- All candidates must be clean shaven for FIT testing
- Candidates who live within 70 miles are not eligible for this travel position
- Allied modules must be completed pre-start and are recorded on transcripts
- Travelers cannot work longer than 1 year consecutively and must take a 6-month break before returning
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS and CNMT certification required
- PET, ARRT N, and NMTCB certifications preferred
- Proficiency with hospital-based PET imaging and related equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years
- License required if applicable
