Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This role offers a chance to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with complex conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain Barre Syndrome. As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region, we handle many acute and complex cases using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- Two (2) years of nursing experience required
- Current RN License in New York State
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Telemetry experience required
- NIHSS certification is highly preferred
