Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a TX or compact license and recent ER experience for a night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting
• Serve patients presenting to the Emergency Room with a wide range of acute needs
• Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract
• Provide acute care and emergency nursing interventions to diverse patient populations
• Must be able to work night shifts as scheduled
• Compliance with required documentation and credentialing is mandatory
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or approved equivalent required for ER units
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
