This position involves performing interventional radiology procedures such as lumbar punctures, biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis, along with general radiology interpretation of plain films and CT scans. The role requires maintaining professional licenses and certifications including an active PA license, board certification, and ACLS certification, as well as proficiency with conscious sedation. The position is full-time, covering 20 shifts per month, with a flexible start date and an expected duration of 3-6 months.
This is a full-time position with a coverage need for 20 shifts per month. The position is expected to last for at least 3-6 months with a flexible start date, but ASAP is preferred. There is no call requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including lumbar punctures, biopsies (lung, liver), thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
- Provide general radiology reads for plain films and CT scans.
- Maintain active PA license and board certification.
- Maintain ACLS certification and be comfortable with conscious sedation.
- Provide 12-24 months of case logs.
