Qualifications Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist II (RCIS) Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Must meet at least one of the following qualifications: Associate's degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology Associate's degree or higher and a minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Cardiovascular Tech in a Cardiac Cath Lab (BLS) - Current Basic Life Support certification (ACLS) – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (obtain within 6 months, offered within) (IABP) – Intra-aortic Balloon Pump Course (RCIS) - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification
