RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 4 or 5 patients to 1 nurse
• Work on a 32-bed telemetry unit on the 4th floor of main hospital
• Must have telemetry experience - candidates without this skill will not be considered
• Experience caring for post-op CABG patients preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Work with GE Telemetry system equipment
• Perform typical procedures including IV and foley starts, chest tube removal
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter
• Ideal candidate should be outgoing, a team player, and willing to take initiative
• Work alongside experienced staff in a collaborative environment
