Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 12-hour day shift travel contract, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Position does not accept local travelers within a 50-mile radius
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
- Role involves perioperative patient care within a surgical team
- Work attire and scrub requirements follow hospital policy
- Travelers should be prepared to complete required hospital orientation and modules
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required and must be unencumbered
- Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience required
- AHA certifications including BLS and ACLS are required and must remain active through the assignment period
- NIHSS certification is required and must be current at time of consideration
- CPI certification is required and may be completed onsite
- COVID and flu vaccination required with no exceptions
