About the Opportunity:
- Setting: 100% outpatient
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 Saturday per month)
- Patient Population: Gastrointestinal patients
- Call: None

- Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations to assess the patient's medical history, current health status, and any preexisting medical conditions
- Evaluate the patient's vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate, to determine their baseline health
- Develop a customized anesthesia plan for each patient based on their individual needs, medical history, and the type of surgical procedure
- Safely administer anesthesia to patients in the operating room, ensuring that they are unconscious and pain-free during surgery
- Continuously monitor the patient's vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to maintain their stability and comfort
- Provide pain management solutions for patients before, during, and after surgery to minimize discomfort and promote a smooth recovery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the patient's safety and well-being during the surgical procedure
- Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) as they recover from anesthesia
- Educate patients about the anesthesia process, potential risks, and what to expect before and after surgery
- Maintain detailed records of anesthesia plans, medications administered, vital signs, and any complications or adverse events during surgery
- Perform other duties , as needed
- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified inAnesthesiology
- Endoscopy experience
