We are seeking an Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan starting Feb 2, 2026. This 90-day opportunity involves a preferred schedule of up to 6 months’ availability, ideally 2 weeks per month, with at least one surgical day per week and additional clinic days. You will provide care to trauma level 4 patients, performing both surgical and non-surgical ophthalmology procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform surgical procedures including cataract removal and phacoemulsification
- Conduct intra-ocular injections
- Interpret and perform ultrasound imaging (A and B-Scan)
- Interpret photos and optical coherence tomography results
- Deliver non-surgical and LASER ophthalmology procedures
- Manage patient care in a trauma level 4 setting with eye lanes available
- Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care during assigned shifts
Additional Information
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in Michigan
- Board certification in Ophthalmology required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong clinical proficiency in both surgical and non-surgical ophthalmology procedures
