Job Description
A Porterville, California based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide compassionate patient care in an interdisciplinary medical clinic. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and has good interpersonal skills. There are multiple practice opportunities at this location including family practice, pediatrics, and urgent care.
Required Qualifications
- CA medical license as an NP or PA
- CA DEA certificate before start date
- Current NP or PA board certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Begin seeing walk in patients and build a patient panel over time
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
- Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
