This permanent Physician/ObGyn position is located in North Carolina, within an hour's drive to Wilmington, Raleigh, and Jacksonville, offering a well-established practice adjacent to a main hospital. The role requires laparoscopic gynecological experience and involves managing a daily patient volume of 25-35, with an average of 27 deliveries and 11 C-sections monthly. The position includes shared on-call responsibilities, comprehensive hospital support services, and offers competitive compensation with benefits including loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
1 hour to Wilmington, Raleigh & Jacksonville, NC Less than an hour s drive to the Triangle, airports, or universities. FM & Derm Residency Program Employed by hospital. Must have laparoscopic gynecological experience. There are 3 OBGYN s on staff. No robot on site Established practice with one physician Located directly beside main hospital Combined daily patient volume of 25-35 Average of 27 deliveries monthly w/ a monthly average of 11 C-Sections 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum rooms Nursery is Level 1; Critical newborns are transferred west to Fayetteville (30 miles) or southeast to Wilmington (60 miles) Shared Call; Expectation of 7 days/month including 1 required weekend Strong hospitalist team with excellent leadership 24/7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology support Wide scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care and Urology Family friendly community with an affordable cost of living Competitive compensation and benefits package In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
