This role is for a board-certified Radiologist to provide remote teleradiology services on an 8-hour shift schedule, including weekend coverage, for a multi-site imaging practice. The position offers flexible, locum tenens work with dedicated IT support and AI-assisted PACS integration, serving a diverse patient population and high volumes of CT, MR, US, and plain film cases. Applicants must hold an active Texas license and DEA certification, with experience welcome from new graduates, and the assignment begins in December 2025 for 26 weeks with potential extension.
We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to provide remote locum services for a high-volume imaging practice. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexible scheduling, remote work, and consistent weekday and weekend coverage. Coverage is needed beginning December 2025 for a 26-week contract with potential for ongoing placement.
Job Details:
Setting: Remote teleradiology for a multi-site float pool
Schedule: 8-hour shifts preferred; Monday Friday 3 PM 11 PM CST; weekend coverage needed across all hours
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call required
Shift Commitment: Full-time preferred; part-time and weekend-only options considered
Support Services: Dedicated IT team for workstation setup; AI-assisted PACS integration launching soon
Patient Volume: Must be able to read a minimum of 10 RVUs/hour; average RVUs/shift due to high plain film volume
Patient Population: All ages
Modalities: CT, MR, US (50%) and PF (50%); ED-focused case mix
Requirements:
Board Certification: Required in Radiology
License: Active Texas license required; IMLC considered
Certifications: Active DEA required
Experience: New grads welcome; must have own workstation
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately days; temporary privileges available
Additional Notes: Interview process includes name clear and phone screen; 3 references and study counts from past 24 months required
