We are seeking a skilled andcompassionate Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics experience to provide coveragein Eastern West Virginia. This role combines outpatient Family Medicine withinpatient obstetrical care and offers the opportunity to practice in anacademic environment with active involvement in teaching.
The successful candidatewill provide comprehensive outpatient Family Medicine services while alsocovering inpatient obstetrics. In addition to delivering high-quality,patient-centered care, the physician will participate in the education andsupervision of medical students, residents, and fellows as applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient Family Medicine care to patients across the lifespan.
- Manage inpatient obstetrical care, including labor and delivery, as appropriate.
- Deliver high-quality maternal and child health services in accordance with best practices.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in both clinical and obstetrical settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, safe patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with clinical standards.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Completion of Maternal Child Health Fellowship training.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Active state medical license and DEA registration.
