PM&R Physician Locums Job in Georgia PTO Coverage for 2025 and Beyond

Dates Needed:
November 28 December 24 January 9 February 13, 14 February 16-20 April 23, 24 Schedule and Coverage Details:
Shift times vary - typically on-site Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 8a-12p, Wednesday: 8a-2p, Fridays: 12p-4p. Locums will need to be available via phone from 8a-4p for referral review with hospitalist team
Responsibilities: patient rounding, review of referrals including clinical acceptance or denial with CRS staff, and PMR consultations/face to face follow admissions
Inpatient rehab unit
No overnight call
Hospitalist do admissions, medical management and discharge
Patients per day: 13 average, patients stay 10-14 days
Diagnosis: mainly Neuro (50%), Ortho, non-trauma spine, amputee, etc.
Team meeting Wednesdays

Facility Details and Locum Requirements:
Support staff: full team of RNs, unit manager and director
EMR: EPIC
Beds: 210, 20 bed rehab unit
Active Georgia license required
