Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Trauma
Job Details:
• Full-time Nocturnist position on the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team• Provide full-spectrum trauma and acute care surgical services during overnight shifts• Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery, and inpatient care• Perform evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic tests• Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical team• Maintain all documentation and clinical workflows in Epic EMR• Practice autonomously and handle multiple complex tasks appropriately• Support quality, safety, and performance metrics of the Trauma Surgery service• Engage in professional development and potential leadership opportunities• Must have two years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Master's degree in PA Studies• NCCPA Certification required• Unrestricted Colorado PA license required• Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status• BLS certification required• Annual salary ranges from $136,822 to $179,379, based on experience• Eligible to earn up to $10,000 annually through Quality Value Incentive Plan• Relocation assistance up to $10,000 for eligible candidates• CME benefits of up to $3,500 per year plus 5 CME days• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
