Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent inpatient acute care experience for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital setting with coverage of inpatient acute care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) units
- Standard schedule is 08:00 to 16:30
- Rotating 36/48 hour weekly schedule; one week at 36 hours, the next at 48 hours
- Bi-weekly orientation is provided
- No local candidates considered; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in acute care and skilled nursing facility settings
- Orientation is provided every other week
- Travel pairs are not permitted except under special circumstances
- Assignment confirmation must be uploaded within 24 hours of accepting an offer
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience in an acute care setting required
- Active KY or compact state PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Copy of driver's license and two professional references required for consideration
- No gaps in work history allowed
