A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides autonomous anesthesia care across a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, obstetrics, and general surgery, with a significant portion of cases requiring regional anesthesia. The role includes on-call duties approximately one day per week and one weekend per month, with responsibilities for intubations and sedation in emergency settings. This position involves managing 2 to 10 cases daily, including outpatient procedures and obstetric deliveries, with travel and lodging provided for the assigned location.
- Autonomous CRNA
- Call Ratio/Schedule: Call during the week and weekend 1 day per week; 1 weekend per month (call is required): 20 minute callback. Post call day is not off.
- Types of Cases: Ortho full range General, ENT with healthy peds, OB (epi, c-section) 10 babies per month, Podiatry, Bread & Butter, urology, orthospine, spinals, Cardioversions, sedation in MRI, Intubations during call in ER
- There is a general surgeon in town. Visiting orthopods & OB/GYN s also take cases here. 50% of the caseload is outpatient procedures and 40% is orthopedics followed by 9% OB and 1% healthy peds.
- Lots of regional anesthesia via ultrasound!
- 120-140 deliveries per year. You do not stay in house while the epidural is running.

- Average cut time of 0800
